I'm happy to offer $50 sessions in celebration of my 50th birthday. Available sessions are listed below and range between 10-15 minutes and include 3 digital images with the option to purchase more. Please mark your calendar for the session you choose. These sessions are scheduled on a particular day and not offered any other date. Times will be confirmed once this offer ends on January 21st.

While I love connecting over the phone or in person, I also understand how busy mom life can be. That’s why I’ve created comprehensive photography guides to help you prepare for our newborn, maternity, family, or senior session. These guides provide all the details we discuss prior to our session. This allows you to read and prepare for our session when life’s chaos quiets down.

Sandra has had a love for all things creative her entire life beginning with sketches. Her love for drawing lead her to dabble in oil paintings. Now she paints with light. She began her photography career in 2004, where she photographed newborn, couples in love, children, babies, family's and even pets. Many of those couples came back when they became pregnant and this is when her love of newborns was born. She has been called a "baby whisperer" and "magical" by clients who appreciate her talent.

Having a child is one of the most exciting, rewarding and challenging times an adult will face. So many questions and concerns, many parents often forget to savor every sweet moment with their newborn baby. How do we capture and freeze these moments? That's where Sandra came in! begin with the end in mind

So what does it mean to begin with the end in mind? Simply put, before I pick up my camera to photograph your session, we need to plan where you plan to place the images within your home. You may not have space on your wall, and that's ok. I have beautiful heirloom albums you will love. I photograph your session based on what you plan to purchase for your home so knowing what you want is an excellent start to our long-lasting relationship together. If you are struggling with this decision, no worries, that's what I am here for. I am happy to come to your home and talk about space and sizes that are appropriate for your space.

the pre-session consultation

The pre-session consultation starts off our photography journey together. We schedule our meeting when both decision makers are available. This gives us both a chance to make sure we are a good fit. It's essential that you meet the photographer who is going to be a part of your photography journey. During this consultation, you will look at the products I offer and decide which ones you want for your home. Once you decide which products will go into your home and you decide you want to book your session, we will delve deeper into the design of your session. This consult will last between 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how many questions you have.

the session

My goal is to make your session as stress free as possible. When it comes to family, senior, tween and children, we will select a location that is based on the things you love. Don't worry about trying to decide what to wear, I provide guidance along the way. For maternity clients and children, I have a collection of maternity gowns and little girl gowns that you and/or your little girl are welcome to wear, depending on sizes.

Although I photograph lifestyle newborn sessions, the majority of newborn sessions take place in my home studio. I provide all the wraps, hats, hair accessories, props and fabrics for our session and will have everything ready to go when you arrive. But before you arrive, I send you a preparation guide that tells you exactly what you need to do before our session together. It's that easy!

the reveal and ordering session

Approximately one week after our session together, all decision makers will come back to my home studio for your reveal and ordering session. This is when our first meeting becomes fulfilled. There's no stress as you already know what you plan to purchase. You will be shown the images from our session and narrow them down to your favorites. Once you have those selected, I will help guide you in selecting the best image to complete your products *if* you have a hard time picking that for yourself. It is that simple. This session may last an hour.

the delivery

Around 4 to 6 weeks after your order session, your products will arrive. Once I have checked your order, I will call or email, sometimes both, to let you know everything is ready to come home. Oftentimes, I hand deliver products if you are unable to make it for pickup. If you need help hanging your prints, I can help you with that as well.

Newborn Photography Sessions Include

Your newborn session includes a complimentary pre-session consultation to learn about the colors in your home, colors that you love, colors that you dislike, and if your baby's nursery has a theme. I want to know it all so that I can custom design sets that will work beautifully with your home decor. I will go over what you can expect from a session with me and answer any questions that you have.

An hour setup design the day before our session. Once the sets are complete, you can expect a text with images of the designs so that you can make any desired changes before our session. After your approval of the set designs, I will email a preparation guide that gives you information on how to prepare on your end.

*Session time. Up to 3 hours of photography in the comfort of my studio. The session includes portraits of your baby alone but can include portraits with the family, including pets. Snacks and drinks are provided for your convenience.

Albums, wall art, and digital images are not included in your creation fee; however, your fee includes a product credit that will be applied toward your investment at your ordering appointment.

Please note, as a greenhouse, restroom facilities and climate control are not available. However, electricity is accessible, and warmth will be added through a dedicated space heater. Does the session fee come with images?: No, but you may purchase images at affordable rates
Will I get a refund if I need to cancel due to illness, death, or uncooperative child?: There are no refunds or transfers to another session for this event. However, you are welcome to sell or gift your spot to a friend or family member (you are responsible for collecting funds from that friend, etc.). Once you sell your spot, call or email me with that friend's contact information.
What happens if my child doesn't like Santa and cries? Do I get a refund then?: No. I suggest parents come dressed for portraits. Sometimes small children do better in the arms of mom and dad. Crying photos aren't as bad as you think and may actually bring lots of joy since this is a right of passage for many children. In the event your little one is still struggling, I will have a separate Christmas setup and will photograph them at that set instead. If we pull your child's attention away from Santa, we will try to sneak Santa into some portraits without your little one knowing it.
Can my child's cousin and/or friend be in the portraits as well?: Each session time is set aside for immediate family only. If you would like portraits of your children and their cousins or friends, book two time slots that are back to back.
Do you have plans in place for COVID?: Yes.

1. Anyone in the studio, other than Santa and those being photographed, will be required to wear a mask.

2. Clients will enter the front door and exit the back door.

3. Limited seating will be available.

4. No in-person sales this year. Images will be viewed, selected, and ordered online.

We ask that you:

1. Notify us if you or anyone in your family has come into contact with anyone who has or is being tested for COVID

2. Contact us immediately if you are someone in your immediate family is being quarantined for potential or test positive for COVID

3. Use the hand sanitizer provided for you at the door before entering the studio.
Can I bring my pet?: While I am all about fur babies in portraits, no fur babies are allowed to be in portraits with Santa.
What is the turnaround time?: Your images will be ready to view within 7 days after our session. Once you select the images that come with your session, final images will be ready within 12-14 days.
Can you hold a spot for me?: I am unable to hold session times without payment of the experience booking fee.

My dad tells me often that my camera is a time machine. The images captured from that time machine will last long after we are gone and he's absolutely right.
