What You Need To Know About Booking A Winston Salem Family Portrait Session

Are you considering having portraits taken by a Winston-Salem family photographer? One of my favorite aspects of photographing families is the connection I build with them. I get to watch their children grow up and learn about all their new adventures. When families visit the studio, they never forget my chickens, and some parents even have to bribe their children to leave.

Whether we photograph at my studio or on location, I will capture both traditional posed images and candid moments. I will encourage you to interact with your children to capture those genuine connections. Not only is my goal to capture images that you will cherish forever but for your family to leave our session with a wonderful experience.

Texting may be easier but speaking over the phone allows us to get to know each other. I promise, it will be painless.

Booking Your Session

If you love my work and wish to book your session, I will email you a studio retainer and agreement form. Your non-refundable retainer secures your date on my calendar. Once I receive the signed retainer and agreement, your session date and location will be confirmed. Additionally, you will receive my style guide, which is designed to help you plan your clothing for our session, including a sample color palette and examples of clothing choices. Portrait Day

We will spend an hour together, so relax and have fun. I will capture both posed and candid images, guiding you through posing because I know it feels awkward at first. By the time we are done, you'll feel like a pro. If your child is under five years old, they may be in an exploratory phase and want to do their own thing, which is perfectly fine. My goal is to capture the essence of who they are and who your family is at this moment in time. Cherish every moment and this experience!

After Our Session

Two weeks after our session, you will receive an email with a link to your gallery of images for review and ordering. Digital collections will be uploaded to your gallery and available for download two weeks after your order is complete. Tangible products may take longer to produce, with timing varying depending on the type of product ordered.
