MEET SANTA BARRY

Christmas is a magical time of Wonder, Hope, Happiness, Faith & Giving. 

Throughout the years the man known as Santa Claus, Kris Kringle, Saint Nicholas, Papa Noel, and many other names throughout the world, has inspired happiness and joy to children, young and old alike. He has listened to the cares, worries and wishes of many. He has brought smiles to faces, comfort to the sick, cheers to hearts, and instilled hope in souls.

Santa Barry W is happy to help you and your family to keep this festive tradition alive, to reflect on the past memories and to create new ones for generations to come.

 

BOOKING YOUR SESSION

The best time to reserve a spot on my calendar is during your pregnancy, ideally in your second or early third trimester. Once you book your session, your due date will be placed on my calendar. Once your baby arrives, we will plan your session with the first two weeks of life.  Don’t worry if your baby arrives early or late; we’ll adjust the session date as needed to accommodate your little one’s arrival. If you are reading this and your baby has already arrived, don't stress, I have photographed newborns up to 6 weeks old in the cuddly poses you see on my site. 

A CUSTOMIZED EXPERIENCE

Each session is tailored to reflect your family’s style. During our pre-session consultation, we’ll discuss your vision, favorite colors, poses, and any sentimental items you’d like to include. Whether you prefer muted textures or bold colors, we'll create something unique for your family. 

A RELAXING STUDIO ENVIRONMENT

My cozy studio is designed with both comfort and safety in mind. With soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a soothing ambiance, parents can relax while I work wrapping, molding, and soothing your new love to create images you will love. 

SAFETY IS MY PRIORITY

Your baby’s safety is my top priority. I practice safe newborn posing techniques and ensure that all props, blankets, and surfaces are washed and sanitized before each session.

WHAT TO BRING

While I have props, wraps, and hat/hair accessories, you are welcome to bring items sentimental to your family (i.e. blankets, teddy bears). Please mention these items during our consultation so that I can plan sets accordingly. A newborn preparation guide will be sent to you the day before our session to help you prepare your newborn before their photography debut.

DURING THE SESSION

Studio newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing. Patience is key, and I work with your baby’s cues to ensure a stress-free experience. Parents and siblings are welcome to join us for family and sibling portraits, which we’ll schedule at the beginning or end of the session. Pets are always welcome to join our newborn portraits session. Learn more about including pets in your newborn portrait session. 

AFTER THE SESSION

Once our session is complete, I will curate a gallery of your best images. You’ll be invited to return for a personalized viewing and ordering appointment unless products have been selected during our consultation.  I offer a range of heirloom-quality products, including albums, fine art prints, and wall art. To spark ideas, check out "4 Ways to Display Portraits in Your Home."
