what's a newborn photography session like?

It's amazing to say the least. I cannot tell you the number of times I have been told, by parents, that all they thought the photographer had to do is lay the newborn baby down and take a few frames. I wish I could say that it IS that easy but I would be telling you a lie. Photographing a newborn is one of the hardest sessions a photographer will photograph. Why? Well, not all babies come in snug and cozy. Some newborn babies do not want to be messed with. Some have reflux or treturous gas (trust me, I know). So why do I photograph newborns if they are so hard? Because I truly love molding babies into forms and shapes that they were in while in mama's womb.
